Personal response and rating: I would give this book a 4.5; I loved that there was a book that talked about ASL, deaf culture, and illustrated how to sign a few words and phrases. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was one sign that the book used that is not a real sign or is not commonly used by the deaf community.
